Can I stop washing my 4 week old tattoo with antibacterial soap now?

-I don't mean 'in the shower kind of washing"..I mean outside of the shower. The tattoo covers my entire lower back. It hardly itches anymore only sometimes. It isn't sore anymore. It's healing very nicely and plus it's going to be 4 weeks when I got my tattoo done which is this Friday.You should be okay by now. However if it need any touching up then you will have to go back to the anti bacterial soap for about one week. Always put skin lotion on it to keep the skin healthy so the tattoo will always look good and put the heaviest sun block you can find when you go out in the sun with it exposed to prevent it from fading. I use banana boat 100spf for babies on mine. It is now a part of your body for the rest of your life as surely as you hands and feet are. Take care it.I've always been told to wash mine with the antibacterial soap until all the flaking/peeling has stopped. So I would assume by now it should have stopped peeling, but everyone is different. If it's stopped flaking then yeah just wash it like normal skin.
No if you stop washing it before 3 months your skin will create bacteria and fall off.
I wash mine for the first 3 days then apply a&d then after that just lotion, and all 4 of mine are perfect.
yea i only do that for 2 weeks then i go back to my normal soaps. I have 6 tattoos and all of them are just fine
