I've had them out for a day now.Just take out the gauge entirely, be sure to apply some sort of antiseptic to avoid infection. It sounds like you stretched it a bit too fast and your skin started to tear. Your skin will holes will shrink eventually unless you have those giant gauges like some African tribes.
you can just take them out and they will close on there own. they will slowly close since it is a hole but with the swelling is probably cuz of irritation and for the crusys just clean it and itll be ok. Good luck.

How can i convince my mom to let me get a double piercing? ?
-i'm 15 years old and i really want to get a second piercing on my lobe. i've had my first ones done since i was 9 but my mom says i have to wait till i'm 16.I had this similar problem. My dad wouldn't let me get my lip pierced. I finally have it done. Just try to tell her:
It's not like you're getting your face pierced
If you don't want it later on in life, you can let it close up, and there won't be a scar.
It's not permanent.
It's safe, and doesn't look trashy.
It's barely noticeable.
It's not like any other piercings.
Or ask for a really crazy piercing, like your tongue, keep asking. When she realizes that you want something worse than your ears done, she may let you get that. That's what I did for my dad. I asked for my lip to be done, he kept saying no, so I begged and begged and begged for my tongue to get done, and he said hell no, I'd rather you get your lip done. So now, my lips done. -It would be all the symbols from cards. So hearts, spade, d谋amond and club on my b谋k谋n谋 l谋ne. It's ded谋cated to my grandma and the memor谋es she's g谋ven me, she loved poker and card games. It would be along the b谋k谋n谋 l谋ne, what do you th谋nk?very cool idea:) I would add a little something more to it though.. and put some shading into it, i find some nice shading work add something to a tattoo.. more depth. Bold is cool to, what ever is your style. Either way im sure it will look kick *** and you will wear it with style!

Scabbing from mole removal problems.?

I got a mole removal on my hand to remove this mole that was deep within my skin.
For 2 weeks, I covered it with a bandage and it healed up. It still left a black looking thing on my hand.
I got another mole removal to remove it.
This time, I left it out in open air and it formed a scab. However, the scab fell off prematurely and now I'm left with a very dark pink flesh looking hole on my hand.

What side should I put my monroe pirecing on?
-My bangs are swept to the left and I have a pirecing on the top of my right ear? I will be getting a monroe piercing this weekend :) I want it to look goodWhichever side you think it will look good on. It doesn't matter what piercings you have or which direction your hair swings.
Lip Piercing Question ?
-I got my lip pierced on June 9 and I changed it on July 23 to a lip ring because kept accidently biting on the the back of the stud but now the next day it got swollen. i dont know if I changed it too soon :l any help would be apreciated :)With piercings it's suggested you leave the original stud in for 4 weeks min'... so going by that, yeah you may have changed it a tad too soon.
Also, if the ring or your lip wasn't clean, then that could of aggravated it a bit.

Did you get the bar changed to a shorter bar by your piercer? If not, then do this as you'll be less likely to bite on it. For the time being, bathe your lip in sea salt solution twice a day.

-I use Neutrogena Deep Clean and I've used it for a while and it worked in the beginning and it seems to not work as well as it did in the beginning. What daily facial routine should i do?

I would wash your face twice a day with the Clean and Clear scrub, then use the Clean and Clear deep cleaning astringent after, to remove any leftover oil and makeup. Then use a moisturizer. I recommend Clean n Clear dual action moisturizer. Repeat the regimen once in morning, then before you go to bed. Theres tons of great acne fighting products, and Clean n Clear is a great starter brand!depends on your skin type and how old you are (teens have oily skin). exfoliating should be limited to once a week cos it dries out your skin, i usually only exfoliate once a week and used a good moisturiser afterwards to prevent drying since my skin is very sensitive. I use pure oatmeal to wash my face daily though, or a light face wash like "simple".

-im thinking about getting one by my eyebrow .. any negatives and positives about them?? personal experiences ? it is safe? will it easily come out of your skin through time ?i had a dermal in my chest and its very safe if u go to a professional shop and no it wont easily come out of ur skin through time. u have to get it removed from the piercer who did it. and from my experence it doesnt hurt piercing it or taking it out. for the eyebrow tho idk if i would do that because of the hair.... but maybe under or above the eyebrow a little bit. have fun
How long does it take for a tattoo to heal after you get it?
-Average about 2 weeks. Not long at all compared to piercings because it's just a surface wound like a scrape.If you take good care of it i would say what everyone else is saying wich is 2-4 weeks. I never spoke to anyone who went longer than that but it can happen. From personal experience mine was pretty good after about 20 days (so 3 weeks).

What does it mean when the hole of a nose piercing is pink?
-My nose piercing is almost 3 weeks old and my nose screw had came out. I tried my best to put it back in but I couldn't. So I had saw how pink the hole of my nose was. Right now I got nose bone ring in. Will the pink go away by the time its healed?
I clean my piercing with Claire's Ear antiseptic.It means your piercing is still healing! 3 weeks isn't enough for a cartilage piercing to totally heal, and since there is cartilage in your nose, a cartilage piercing is what you've got! You need to be patient and take care of it, and the pink will eventually go away.
And don't use that crap Claire's cleaning solution, it's not meant for noses and can do more harm then good. I suggest a cup of warm water with about 1/8th teaspoon of non-iodized sea salt (you should be able to get this in the drug store). Make a nice warm solution, and either dip your nose into it, or saturate a clean cotton ball and hold it on the piercing for about 5 or so minutes. It feels good, it won't sting and it will support the healing.

-So I recently just asked a question on here about me getting a belly button piercing, but now I'm debating whether or not to get a nose piercing! Now, I have my nose and my belly button done. The bellybutton is the most "accepted" piercing, but it's not cartilage. Your nose is a thicker cartilage and it pops just like your ear's cartilage would when you pierce it. My nose and my bellybutton didn't hurt either way. I've had to have my bellybutton done twice, because it rejected. Which can happen to anyone at anytime. Don't do both at the same time either. Do one at a time and let your body adjust. The belly is definitively prone to more issues. Just know they both snag on a lot of things. Like towels and jeans and shirts. They both take a while to heal, you could always hide your bellybutton. Your nose is out there, for anyone and everyone to see. The experience is different for everyone, just clean it with a saline solution daily and only touch it with clean hands! (With your nose you can't put make up or anything around it at all, so your nose will be like a divided section!)I got my belly done 11 days ago, I found it slightly painful. Its prone to getting infections but its really easy to clean and I love the piercing its self. If I was you I'd get my belly button done, because its not as little and fiddly, its not always on show, so employers won't see it, and its meant to be less painful than your ear. -i don't believe in god so seems pointless for me to get a cross tattoo which to be honest are really to common for my liking i was thinking of getting a milky way tattoo because i believe we are all part of the universe and just put a lot of things in prospective for me.
I would like 2 milky way symbols on my shoulder blades and then with more detail of the milky way spinning out from my symbols but a few of my mates said it sounds a bit girlie so im not to sure.

How do you talk on the phone with a tragus ear piercing?

ummm honestly nothing happend to mine. its been about 5 years now and my belly button is fine. and you cant say you wont get sand in it because sand is EVERYWHERE at the beach and it will go in your belly button so when you get home in the shower you will see that you have sand in your belly button. or atleast i did lol

i usually take a Q-tip and put some soap on one end, and clean around the outside part of the piercing and the inside belly part. then take the other side of the Q-tip put some water on it and do the same cleaning thing outside then inside. (the water kinda washes away the soap) then take another Q-tip and dry the piercing. the outside part and the inside.

I have a friend who did that and hers hurt and was sensitive for a month if you can handle it then go for it just as long as you clean it. But if it hurts too much to do it then i wouldn't if i were you. Hope i helped

I am 51 years old and have been married for almost 27 years. I have been wanting to get a tattoo for some time now and finally had it designed and thought out. My wife did have to ok the design and the placement.
I took a number of months figuring out what I wanted and then I discussed it with the artist and my wife.
After all that, I made the appointment which I had to wait for 6 weeks for. Which gave me more time to think about it and make sure the design was what I wanted. My tattoo is 1 week old as of today.
She likes the design and the placement. It is on the side of my calf.
That being said, it is his body, but he does have to take into consideration how you feel about it. When you got married you did become "one"Wow, I thought you were going to be talking about your kid not your husband.
It's his body, he was born with it, not you, so he can decide what to do with it. The bible does say not to defile your body with ink, but it also says not to trim your beard. It depends on how literally he takes the bible. There are a lot of Christians with tattoos. If your husband wants this 'big ink print' and it's meaningful and important to him, you should encourage him.
Say did you know at one time Christians got tattoos to identify them selves as Christians? The saying "treat you body like a temple" does not specifically refer to tattooing. I have seen many MANY Christian marking themselves with crosses, images of the Virgin Mary and Jesus. Putting religion aside I do also believe that when you are married people do have a say about some of the things that their spouse is doing such as getting tattoos. It is about respect. I told my wife what I wanted to get tattooed and asked if she minded and she would do the same for me. She did not mind at all. But the most important thing to understand is that the old stigma of tattoos really does not exist anymore. All kinds of people from all walks of life are getting tattoos these days. The designs that they can do today are beautiful to say the least. Don't be surprised if you want one someday. My own mother once was one of those people that had that old negative stigma about tattoos, she now has two tattoos herself.

Eyebrow piercing - hurts?
-it is not infected the skin is normal colour the pus is white and i've been spraying it twice a day . I have the piercing for a month now. After going to the pool i had many pus and now it hurts when i touch it. What could it be? any chance of pus trapped inside?I got rid of mine, you tend to move your eyebrows a lot so it doesnt get chance to heal. Surgical spirit on it will help to clean it if you want to keep it.

-I'm 14 and I have a little bit of baby fat on my cheeks. It's more noticeable when I smile. I can pinch a lot of skin, too. Nose piercing pain question?
-hi ! i have a pretty high pain tolerence and i can deal with pain well, debating weather or not to get a nose piericng, i have my lip pierced didnt feel it at all. i know that everyones pain tolerence is different but what was your nose piercing experience like ?When I went to get it done, I wasn't really scared (I had pierced it myself years before but took it out). It just makes your eyes water pretty bad and you might feel like you have to sneeze. I wouldn't recommend getting it done during the winter months because the more boogies you have, the harder it is to clean it. The worst part for me was just the tiny little sound it makes going through the last couple of layers, just like a cartilage piercing. Otherwise mine didn't swell or anything.

I got it pierced 3 months ago and It's still too sore to change it. Of course, I have managed to take it out in my sleep a few times and I've pulled it accidentally with the wash cloth. Also, another time my boyfriend almost pulled it out.. long story lol but I think it's totally worth it and you won't regret it. But just so you know after you get it pierced it kinda pulses with pain off and on for the first day but it's nothing bad and then if you try to flare your nostrils that hurts really bad for the first about 3 or 4 days.

-Im terrified of shots, I dont remember the last time I got a shot and im not all up to date on my shots, I have the worst fear of them to the point where I will passout if I see one. My doctor said I didnt need it but im going to be getting a new doctor and I want to no if EMLA cream actally does work?Yes Emla cream does work but you may have to have it prescribed before it can be used on you. It needs to go on approx 20 - 30 mins before you have blood taken and the phlebotomist/nurse will apply it for you. I assume it will also work when you have injections as well but be aware liquid is going in and this can hurt, especially if it's penicillin which is thick and gloopy , emla numbs the area outside not inside the arm.

I wasn't!! and I never will be! I just always eat healthy and my entire family is built like me. However, as I got a little older, people started telling me that I had a perfect body for modeling and many of my peers and friends said they were jealous of my body type, which I told them they were crazy for thinking. So my confidence started to increase and I began to enjoy my body more than I had before. But now I see on TV and in magazines saying that girls with curvier figures like Kim Kardashian are beautiful (which I agree with, no doubt). However, all this attention to curvier figures in women is once again making me feel self conscious about my slender figure. I feel like the only thing that attracts men are my breasts ( oddly, I have bigger breasts for my size--34 C). What do guys really think is an attractive figure for women?well i guess your figure sounds perfect! Most guys don't really care as long as they are not fat (I don't really care what a girl looks like) but don't feel that you need to change anything! Sun Sun Sun ... I look like a lobster in the face ... .. what to do?

Belly button piercing rejection... help?!!?
-I got my navel pierced yesterday at toronto's new tribe for 55$

IT was red for the first 10 mins and then it was okay. I cleaned it at home and it started to hurt a bit but then the pain fully went away.
There is no pus, no redness (except after i clean it with special soap, but it only lasts for 5 mins and same thing with the pain). When i put my hand on the skin in between the two balls, i can slightly feel the barbel thing inside my skin.
When the guy pierced it also, i was moving as it was hurting me but he got me to calm down..
does it look or sound like it would reject soon? does it look ok so far?Are you concerned because you can feel the bar in your skin? Don't be. I can feel mine too and I've had mine for over a year. No rejection :]

-I might go to flordia around august 19th but I might get my belly button pierced this weekend july 26th will I be able to swim? How long do you have to wait befor you can? The salt in the sea is great for the healing process BUT there is A LOT of bacteria in the ocean which is just asking for a nasty infection. you could try to apply a large waterproof adhesive bandage over the new piercing and that could help keep it clean and not get wet. -soo i plan on getting a small tattoo on the inside of my left wrist of a word or two but im not sure what yet. here's the story.. I've been extremely sick with this disease for months in the hospital along with other issues i'd rather not get into. Long story short im going through hell right now. i want a tattoo on my wrist to keep me going. like an affirmation. something to look at reminding me that im a strong person and can do it. and for future dificulties i can look at it and remember what i survived and know i can get through anything.
I was thinking:

I don't know what else does anyone have an idea?Whenever I see the word 'LIVE' it reminds me that all the hardships and pain I've gone through is worth it because I'm still alive. Kind of tells me to keep on going. But that's just me.

Many tattoos are made to be very personal that help you through life so my quote would be "fight fire with fire" but that may not touch you how other quotes would. I would look up some quotes that represent how you feel about your strength and see which ones touch your heart the most.
If you do want a one word though I would think "fighter" is good but there is also "soldier" "trooper" "survivor" - I like that one - "stronger" etc.
Or another alternative is that if you are religious you could get a tattoo that represents your religion.
You could also do this for your zodiac because many zodiacs represents different things like Aries is to do with strength as are some others.
Or you could even get it in a different language, if you are foreign, or you could do some deep research because in other languages there are words that can mean a whole sentence in english.

It's only been there for a couple of months and it's not an acne scar, but Is small and round like one. It is also not indented or raised. How to get a clear face?

I waxed my eyebrows, now they're all red!?
-I got my eyebrows waxed for the second time in my life... the first time I got them waxed, they got all red and bumpy so I put on concealer to cover them and I was stuck with a lot of zits... for awhile! I was so annoyed, and sad about it... so I went for the second time today, and they were SO red, even on my forehead it was all red, I went to the same place, and they put some cleaning stuff on it, but I think it made it worse.. I freaked out, but made sure not to put any concealer on it, because I knew that would make it worse. Why does it take forever for my boobs to grow? HELP?
-I turned 14in march and im going to HS. People say ur noovs start growing when your period starts but that happened to me in 5th grade and till this day nothin, i do have im a size 32b but i want more cause all girls i see are my age and there big n i dont fit in. The situation is this:
I got a mole removal on my hand to remove this mole that was deep within my skin.
For 2 weeks, I covered it with a bandage and it healed up. It still left a black looking thing on my hand.
I got another mole removal to remove it.
This time, I left it out in open air and it formed a scab. However, the scab fell off prematurely and now I'm left with a very dark pink flesh looking hole on my hand.

Use olive oil out of shower on your face, just a few drops. It has an spf of 5. Using it daily will give a natural protection that is beneficial. Even an egg mask will help.

-Not sure what words yet but it would be small, in cursive, and black. Any idea? How to remove hickies from neck?
-yesterday i had hickies or haters for the first time i never liked how it looks but my girl friend was so sexy so i let her, now it looks nasty and i have alot in my neck im dumb for letting myself i work tomorow and i think its a bad manner so how can i remove them asap plz :(Take some spoons or an icepack and place it in the freezer until it's cold enough for you to handle. Place over the hickies (the sooner the better) and keep there for up to 30 minutes and hopefully they'll be less noticeable. Repeat if necessary. I also heard about scrubbing it w. a toothbrush to promote circulation...i nvr tried that b4 though...

Spider Bites Lip Piercing Trouble?
-I've had my spider bites since last August and the one closest to the middle of my lip is really swollen. It will be fine someday's then it will randomly get swollen. Now i just recently changed my lip rings, so is this maybe the reason? The piercing on the right is perfectly fine, but my left one is super swollen. Is this normal? I want to take them out but I'm afraid my piercing will close up. Any advice?You should rinse it three times a day with sea water, you can get that in a bottle at a drug store or a supermarket. It disinfects the piercing and soothes the skin. But don't take out the lip ring! That will increase the risk of infection. And if that doesn't help after 2 to 3 weeks, go see the doctor and he'll give you a disinfecting cream for it :)Try icing your lip..and maybe go visit the place you got it done they might know what's wrong

Has anyone tried the cream champori for Psoriasis on scalp and leg.?
-I've been using champori ointment on my scalp and legs for the last year and the results are outstanding. It starts working immediately with visible effect in few days. Takes a week or so to bring the outbreak under control. the ointment is greasy and i apply it sparingly and carefully to the scalp parting the hair. Champori works better than anything else I tried so far.

Belly button piercing rejection... help?!!?

IT was red for the first 10 mins and then it was okay. I cleaned it at home and it started to hurt a bit but then the pain fully went away.
There is no pus, no redness (except after i clean it with special soap, but it only lasts for 5 mins and same thing with the pain). When i put my hand on the skin in between the two balls, i can slightly feel the barbel thing inside my skin.
When the guy pierced it also, i was moving as it was hurting me but he got me to calm down..
does it look or sound like it would reject soon? does it look ok so far?Are you concerned because you can feel the bar in your skin? Don't be. I can feel mine too and I've had mine for over a year. No rejection :]

But you can go De-Tanning in Beauty salons. Or you can use home made Curd to De-tan yourself.
Apply curd on your face and the forearm for 15min, let it dry.
Wash off with soap.
Try it for 1 week you'll see the difference.Firstly, I tan pretty easy like you do when I forget to put on sunscreen. Use at least SPF 30, I use SPF 45.
If your skin is naturally light or pale, you tan easier.
Second: yes, excessive tanning is dangerous and may cause skin cancer.
Lastly, you can try to fill up the bathtub with cool white milk and soak in it for a few hours. Milk is a natural bleacher, but don't count on it lightening your skin drastically after one soak.
You can also use lotions or creams that serve to exfoliate.
If you really want the tan gone, rub baking soda on your body to even out the tan and apply bleaching cream (this contains hydroquinone, I believe. Use only when it is maxed out at 2% of the total product) the next day. Use this cream only when you are desperate.
You can use the facial scrubs in the yellow dispenser and squeezer that contain fruit extract beads: it contains lemon and papaya, which help to brighten the skin and fight acne. I believe this comes from Clean & Clear.
You should first apply the squeezer (labeled "skin brightening facial scrub") , rince, pat your face dry, then apply the facial cleanser that comes in the dispenser. Pat dry, then apply warm water and baby powder to your nose if it becomes shiny. It will remove the shiny-ness in a few minutes. You can rinse the powder off if you like. If your face feels tight, wash your face with warm water for one minute. If it continues to feel tight, wait it out and massage the area. It will go away.
It's best you do this before you go to sleep, even if the label claims to wake you up. it will only do this when you wash your face, lol. Your face will be brighter in the morning, and any acne will becone significantly smaller or will disappear all together.

if they do numb it, then theres a chance you might still feel it anyway cause my friend got her bellybutton done and they not only charged her more but didnt let it dry to numb properly so she did sorta say in the end there was no point to it; and another time my other friend who got it numbed had bruising all around the site for around 3 months are the piercing took place.

-i am a huge fan of yogurt, but i eat the ones without sugar so it'll be healthier for me. i read online that dairy products promote aging within your skin and causes it to age faster. i also read that yogurt masks are beneficial to your facial skin as it prevents premature aging. is there a difference between applying it or consuming yogurt?I've never heard of dairy products making you age. Yes, the plain yogurt mask does moisturize, brighten, and remove blemishes, as I have tried it myself. As for consumption, my friends as well as myself are big fans of dairy and we all look pretty damn young compared to others in our age group.

Has anyone had spa treatments before, are they worth it?
-i might be going to a spa soon, and thinking of getting one of these treatments...
- a pedicure
- a manicure
- a facial
- a massage
- and exfoliation and spray tan
- a massage and a body wrap
are any of these treatments worth it? or has anyone had a great treatment they want to share? thanks!Go for the massage, I always go for those. Depending on your preferences or your lifestyle you can go for a stress-relief massage, a therapeutic massage, a sports massage, a hot-stone massage..

How to learn more about tattooing?
-I want to learn about a variety of artists and the different types of techiniques, shading, work etc.. and basically build up on the -very tiny and incredibly basic- knowledge that I have.
Also, to add im not planning on becoming a tattoo artist, im just interested in the work lolBooks and the internet are amazing tools for information lol. Maybe you can ask a few questions at a local shop or go to a convention if they have any near you.go see if they offer internships/apprenticeships at your local tattoo parlor

Tattoo ideas for a recovering self harmer?
-i have suffered from from anorexia and self harmed after my and my boyfriend split up. he asked if my scars were the only way that i would remember him so i'd like to get something to show the struggle i've been through with him but also how he's my best friend again :)
it would mean alot :)Maybe you can get "love" on your wrist to go along with Write Love On Her Arms Day with is as inassume you probably know is a day against self harmmaybe on the left wrist put stay and on the right put strong so it says stay strong when u put the wrist next to each other in curly writing with a star next to it to suggest making a wish e.g. not self harming yourself and sticking to it i don't know just a idea hope u like it :D
Personally I wouldn't even cover them up because although people may see you in a different light because of them, it's still a part of you and helped (in a way) shape the person you are now. I wouldn't cover mine but that's just me.
I have gone through self harm as well, and I've always liked a series of small butterflies and sillouhettes of birds. I frequently drew both on my arms when I wanted to self harm, and they gave me the courage not to.
