When can i take out a naval piercing?

-I wanna get it pierced soon but im afraid if go swimming my dad will c so is it ok to take it out for an hour when its 2 weeks oldNo you shouldn't cause it's still a fresh piercing an it will close up quicky and then your stuck with having to get it pierced again... I wouldn't recomend taking it out and changing but if need to get a clear belly ring it will help from being visible and also YOU SHOULDNT GOING TO POOl And getting in the water with a fresh piercingYou shouldn't take out a navel ring for (typically) 8-12 weeks. Obviously, you *can* take it out then, but there is no guarantee you won't get an infection or will be able to get the ring back in.
