Im getting my belly pierced tmro and i was wondering if i can go to the beach the next day ?

-I wont get sand in it or anything ... but im gng to the beach thee next day and i wanna swim ..

and wht if i swim and after clean it ?hahaha i did that when i first got mine done. hahaha

ummm honestly nothing happend to mine. its been about 5 years now and my belly button is fine. and you cant say you wont get sand in it because sand is EVERYWHERE at the beach and it will go in your belly button so when you get home in the shower you will see that you have sand in your belly button. or atleast i did lol

ummm after you go to the beach just make sure you clean it like you usually do.

i usually take a Q-tip and put some soap on one end, and clean around the outside part of the piercing and the inside belly part. then take the other side of the Q-tip put some water on it and do the same cleaning thing outside then inside. (the water kinda washes away the soap) then take another Q-tip and dry the piercing. the outside part and the inside.

thats how i clean mine.

goodluck =)Nope. You can't go swimming for a few months after getting it pierced. The infection occurs while you're in the water so it doesn't matter if you clean it right after. Either hold off on your piercing or stay out of the water for the rest of the summer. A navel piercing stays sore for a few days so you wouldn't enjoy a next day beach trip anyway. Wait until summer is over to get pierced.
I have a friend who did that and hers hurt and was sensitive for a month if you can handle it then go for it just as long as you clean it. But if it hurts too much to do it then i wouldn't if i were you. Hope i helped

God bless :]
sea water is the best type of water for a belly button piercing so it would actually do it well! you clean your belly button every night with hot salty water and sea water is naturally salty so it would be good for it
ask your piercer! they know best!

but if you insist on going to the beach & swimming even if they say you shouldnt,

make sure you clean it immediately! beach water is filled with germs.

yes sea salt water is good for the piercing..not actual ocean water!
no!!! u can get it infected like that the same thing happened to my friend and she got it infected with the salt water and had to get re pierced!!!
