-I have a small scar on the side of my face which is a little darker than my skin tone. I am trying to get rid of it completely. It's only been there for a couple of months and it's not an acne scar, but Is small and round like one. It is also not indented or raised. Please help?(: Thank you!Try rubbing a small amount of baking soda in a circular motion on the scar and around it. It will even out the color and help it blend with your skin tone and as time passes the scar will eventually fade and become less noticeable. Continue this until you start to see the scar lighten some; it depends on how bad the injury was.
You can't get rid of a scar because damaged tissue is damaged tissue, I'm sorry. I still have a scar from when I was four years old but I have to look for it to find it; it was pretty dark for the first couple of months after I got the injury.
Of course, the method I've mentioned above is the only cheap and natural method I know of; you probably have baking soda in your house, so it's free of charge. It's natural and safe; no creams or chemicals.
Good luck!I dont really know about skin, but from personal experience, I can say that there might be a chance that will not go away... I have one on my face as well from a bad fall, and it has still not gone away.
Plus its been a couple of months already for you, so chances are it wont go away...
sry abt that.. but hope im wrong and it goes away for you(:
If it's pigmentation (brown), then try using a skin whitening cream. If it's scar tissue (purple or reddish), then vitamin E might help. Buy the capsules that are used for swallowing, prick a hole in them and apply the oil directly to the spot.
Try Mederma. You can find it in your local CVS or Rite Aid. The website below has more information. Hope I helped and get better! =)
palmer's coco butter scar serum. helped so much with the scars on my leg from surgery!(:
