-Yes, you can pretty much put in any type of earring for your helix piercing as long as it fits your piercing and if the bar on the earring is long/short enough for your ear.

The suggested size is at lest 18 gauge, since that's the smallest a helix piercing should be at, due to any smaller gauges, then they may migrate out through the skin.
