The best way to hide a new tongue piercing?

-I am wanting to know the best tips on hiding a new tongue piercing. Also, it would be greatly appreciated if you could answer the following questions -

1. Does it hide a tongue piercing if I talk without opening my mouth wide?

2. How long does the lisp last and is there any way to get rid of it faster?

3. How hard is it to eat normally after the piercing and for how long does this last?

4. Is a tongue retainer great at hiding tongue piercings?

5. What's the best retainer? I'm thinking the one with the flat top and o-ring at the bottom?

6. How long until everything seems normal again (I mean talking normally, swelling going down, eating normally again...)?

7. Will it help if I stay at a friends and get it done then three days later go home?

Thanks for your help! For the first several days you tongue will be super swollen so hiding it will be near impossible as you won't be talking correctly with your mouth open or closed. As far as eating you really need to avoid spicy and salty things for the first several days. It really has to do with what you can put up with. Oh and don't forget you have to learn how to talk with that extra thing in your mouth. It sounds easy but i assure you that you will bang your piercing against the back of your teeth way more than you realize. good luckIt will take a week to heal, and theres no way youll be able to hide it. Period.
you're not gonna be able to hide it, simple as.
